ROCK ON...Hats off to Farhan









Watched Rock On!!! last week and found it absolutely mind blowing.Generally I get over movie hangover within a day or two..it lasted the most for DDLJ and that too at age of sixteen.But with Rock on after a long time I got to watch a nice, light yet romantic and touching story.The USP of the movie is Farhan Akhtar, who just makes you think hard how one person can have so many talents. First of all he looks amazingly handsome and full of poise in both the characters he has played, he might not have a chocolate guy or a macho look but just fits so naturally in roles he has played.Probably because he has been a director first and understands the nuances of film making really well.I can go on and on for Farhan. But the movie consists of best performances by all the actors and has really come out well.R plays guitar and have been thinking from last 1 year of getting a new one as he broke his older one, but has been postponing it for all reasons.But Rock On motivated us so much that I got him a new one next day as we thought that real happiness lies in small things that are close to heart.We are so busy in work, promotions and deadlines that generally forget to take time for things that we enjoy...the movie made us think again the same way...lets hope such nice entertainment keeps coming more often.

My first steps to get Timmu interested in reading

Timmu is four years now and till now have been thinking to let him take things easy and let him indulge in free play. If 2020 hasn't changed you, nothing ever will!

  On the last day of this year as I reflect on the year gone by, I feel a deep sense of realization and awareness of new perspectives I have developed. I am sure this year made each one of us to take a pause, step back and try make some sense out of this whole unpredictable event that happened. I think personally this year made me more aware of lot of different things, just adding some of them below. Do share what were your deepest realizations! YOUR PRIVILEDGE  : We are a lot more  privileged  than many others and that thought made me thank my stars many times and also feel guilty when I saw many others getting deeply impacted by what 2020 brought for them.
