Shifting from Bangalore to Delhi has been my consistent desire from time I shifted my base out for work.Although the freedom and success I got after moving away from home has laid the foundation of my life but Bangalore, London or Italy no place has been close to my heart as Delhi is..as they say Dilwaalo ki Dilli..so when R got an offer in Gurgaon and my company also gave me a transfer ..my joy knew no bounds...I couldn't have asked for more...So here we come here after tiring days of packing and shifting..but joy was short lived as getting adjusted to new city, people and so much household and office work with a small kid took its toll..and with R not quite happy usually used to put me off...but as they say nothing lasts for long and here we started with what I always missed...being close to my people. So here we had 2 wonderful days enjoying WC matches and bonding with my closest pal DB.Life is very different now from being chilled out and care free girls to being mom of baby ...

Hey baby what makes you smile like this.. never seen a beauty like u before!! ur teeth are still hiding somewhere, that worries naani a lot but I am happy that we get to enjoy you toothless smiles lot more!! I scolded u for not letting me sleep I got angry when u broke my mobile I was irritated when u pulled all my hair But u r so kind to always give back your benevolent Smile :D

It’s been a long since I blogged last time..well they said right, being a mother is no joke and I can't believe that it’s been almost 4 months I have spent with you my timmu.There have been so many firsts till now..ur first smile..ur first flight, train ride, first visit to maa vaishnvo devi ..the list is endless and there are many more to come...and today it was first time we tried giving u something other than mom's milk..u had ur Nan1 in bottle today :) and mumma was so worried and feeling guilty. Your Naani says I am over reacting. Probably she talks from experience and I worry because of my inexperience. Timmu I must say that you have really made me realize that I can enjoy being a mom..being with you..playing with you and your smiles have been rewarding. Thanks for coming :)

21st June 2009   - Well this is the day of my life when I found out that my pregnancy test is positive.I mean this was quite a shocking moment for me, well not because it was an unexpected shock...But all the emotions I went through this single day were too new and too many too handle for me.....here is how my day went... I was supposed to travel next weekend to Netherlands for work..also was planning a short visit to Delhi for meeting the girl my brother had liked for marriage..so was all excited about these things.Went to parlour and got a new hair cut and a pampering facial.It was some special facial and while doing that my beautician just mentioned that they don't do it for pregnant ladies..how can I be pregnant..I mean we know we are ok to have a baby…. but somehow we thought it will go a little slow and will take some time, after all its not been even 2 months when we kind of thought that we can welcome a new member ( although you never ever get ready for this)…I j...

ROCK ON...Hats off to Farhan Watched   Rock On !!! last week and found it absolutely mind blowing.Generally I get over movie hangover within a day or two..it lasted the most for DDLJ and that too at age of sixteen.But with Rock on after a long time I got to watch a nice, light yet romantic and touching   story.The USP of the movie is Farhan Akhtar, who just makes you think hard how one person can have so many talents. First of all he looks amazingly handsome and full of poise in both the characters he has played, he might not have a chocolate guy or a macho look but just fits so naturally in roles he has played.Probably because he has been a director first and understands the nuances of film making really well.I can go on and on for Farhan.
